Type B Flora starter is a 'mesophilic gas-producing starter' used to create cheeses with a rich, creamy flavour and texture. Type B Flora can also be used with Edam, Gouda, Havarti, Quarg, Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Blue Vein Cheese,Chevre, Crottin Cheese, Gourmet Fetta, and many more!  All these recipes are available in our Home Cheesemaking Book by Neil and Carole Willman.

One starter pack is enough for 250L of milk, and will make 20-30kg of cheese - outstanding value!

All starters are Direct Vat Set (DVS) and need to be stored in the freezer. Starter culture will be active for at least 12 months if kept in the freezer at or below -18 degrees Celcius
